Overview
Health Level 7 is using freebXML Registry as A registry and repository for development, submission, storage and retrieval of HL7 artifact and enforcing policies and procedures for such action.
The HL7 ebXML Registry and Repository is being operated by US National Institute of Standards and Technology.

Primary Use Case
Currently the effort is focusing on HL7 Templates, static models, and Conformance Profiles. Collaborators in this effort consist of members of the HL7 Templates Special Interest Group and the Conformance Special Interest Group. The Experimental Registry project reports to the HL7 Modeling and Methodology (MnM) committee.
